Providing and funding programs for high achieving students
Henderson Education is proud to be able to fully fund a variety of opportunities for local gifted, talented, and high-achieving students in public schools.
1
Connecting Students To Professionals
With community support, students are able to work with experts with specific knowledge and training such as corporate leaders, medical professionals, engineers, business executives and scientists.
2
Fostering a collaborative culture
Working with peers of common ability and academic interests gives students the ability to develop team building skills that will be critical to their future success.
3
Applying knowledge to find solutions
Our students have been guests on a local national public radio show, presented at a professional conference and launched a student to student green advocacy campaign.
Not bad for a group that hasn't left middle school.
4
Forming friendships that last
Our students are diverse in many ways, but they share a love of learning. A major part of what we do is help students build relationships and have fun with their peers.
5
Innovating in the classroom
Testing new models for teaching is one way that we hope to contribute to education. Our graphic curriculum, expands upon mind mapping and provides a valuable new resource for facilitating student groups.
6
Learning through the study of real world issues
Learning requires both commitment and passion. Working with issues that affect their daily life and future gives our students additional motivation to strive for the best.
